Inspired by the spirit of ‘Service and Sacrifice’, a group of visionary men, educationists, academicians, lawyers, bureaucrats and philanthropists of Chandigarh and Punjab joined hands in 1973 under the able guidance of Late Dr. Pt. Mohan Lalji, former Home, Education, Industry and Finance Minister of Punjab. Keen to carry forward the initiatives of the great educationist Goswami Ganesh DuttJiMaharaj, together they founded GGDSD College Society to impart value-based quality education. The Society was duly registered under Societies Registration Act XXI of 1860.
